Eric loves music. As a child he grew up playing piano, later he started singing and song writing, but now his main focus is DJing at weddings. After putting himself through school as a radio disc jockey he moved to Japan to work for BeBop USA, a chain of entertainment restaurants/nightclubs that focused on 50’s-70’s music. Eric raved about the wonderful experience and explained how servers are required to sing, dance and serve. Six years later he came back to the United States and started All Wright Music, a full service disc jockey company for weddings and on occasion, special events.
All Wright Music provides “Perfectly Tailored DJ Entertainment.” Eric explains, “The music is tailored for each individual client. I meet with a couple, talk about likes and dislikes, as well as specific moods and feelings they are looking for. They review my music library list and mark favorites and non-favorites.” Eric assures me this process helps him develop an appropriate wedding play list.
Eric’s extensive knowledge of various aspects that go into a wedding contributes to his successful business and sets him apart from other DJ entertainment companies. Not only does he understand the catering and service side, but his radio background helps when it comes to being in command of the microphone and feeling completely comfortable when working a wedding.
With almost two decades under his belt, Eric has been honored with many awards. He has taken home the Modern Bride DJ of the year three times and has been awarded Best Wedding DJ from Oregon Bride Magazine twice. This is not all that surprising after learning about his impressive experience, knowledge and passion for the industry.
He insists, the key to performing at weddings is acting like a chameleon, being able to adapt to the pace and energy of the event is an absolute must. When working a wedding Eric’s main goal is to create a magical night for the couple. It is also important to eliminate stress and to be of assistance throughout the process of toasting, cutting the cake and on.
Eric is excited for what the future holds for All Wright Music. He is always on the search for new songs and artists to introduce to his potential clients. As for what songs are trendy now, you will just have to make an appointment with Eric and find out.
